What Exactly is Frontend Publishing in Joomla?

Front-end publishing is what allows Joomla users to edit or write new content directly on the webpage of their website. You are able to update your site without ever having to go to Joomla's administration panel. And logging in and setting up your account is a breeze.

First, you are going to login into the site with the information your administrator will give you. The login area can be anywhere on the website, or even a link given to you.

Once logged in, this area will change to this:

Then you will see that you have three links. The My Account link will take you to a webpage where you can enter your profile information. This can be important for when you are blogging, especially when multiple people are working on the same site.

Visiting My Page, you will be able to see and edit any content that you have added to the website.

Last, Add a New Item will allow you to start updating your website (more on that coming soon)!
